JPEGMAFIA Unveils New Album ‘All My Heroes Are Cornballs’ | Music News

The highly-anticipated new album from JPEGMAFIA titled All My Heroes Are Cornballs has been released on EQT Recordings. After his last album Veteran, which marked a commercial and critical point for the artist, he is back with new music.

Following a number of mixtapes, the artist released his debut studio album, Black Ben Carson in February 2016, through Deathbomb Arc. After a few months, he released a collaborative EP The 2nd Amendment alongside the rapper Freaky.

“A rapper who consistently keeps my attention on the mic, and one of hip-hop’s most gifted producers” were the words from Pitchfork for this artist, who speaks volumes with his personality, eccentric production and live shows.

His career has also been honoured by FADER, which said that the record producer Jpegmafia is “a force to be reckoned with”. “He’s one of the most unique rappers on the planet, a guiding force that links the political, personal and the artistic” was the evaluation of Billboard.

Kenny Beats, DJ Dahi, James Blake, Jeff Tweedy and Hannibal Buress helped the California-based artist bring All My Heroes Are Cornballs to life. On October 14, Jpegmafia is set to kick off his ‘JPEGMAFIA Type Tour’ that will be in Los Angeles, Oakland, Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago, Minneapolis and ending with two shows in his hometown Baltimore in Maryland.
