Utilising a familiar sample from Kool & The Gang’s classic “Summer Madness”, “We On” encapsulates that late summer vibe, as the pairing deliver a contemporary boom bap classic. Mistajam has already jumped on board, making the track his ‘Track Of The Week’ on his BBC 1Xtra show next week.
The trio, Ric Flo, MAEAR and Tony Bones have spent the last two years redefining soulful hip-hop – they drop the single ahead of their new album entitled Full Circle, which is out next Friday on legendary label Mr Bongo.
