Kanye West ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Release Has Been Postponed | Music News

Everybody is talking about it since Variety revealed that the forthcoming Kanye West album has be postponed, and will now not be released today, September 27.

Titled Jesus Is King, it was announced earlier this month that it would be dropped today, September 27. And it was his wife, Kim Kardashian who announced it via social media, and as at two days ago, she was still promoting that it will be released today.

Neither West or Kim has announced anything to confirm these rumors, but Variety claims their news comes from a source “close to the situation” so it’s to be taken seriously. And after all, it’s not the first time the rapper has postponed an album release at the last minute. Indeed that’s what happened last year to his album Yandhi, which in fact, never arrived.

As for the religious title of his forthcoming (?) album, Kany West has held a lot of ‘religious’ performances over the past few months, calling them ‘Sunday Services’, and he even took it to Coachella earlier this year, as an easter service. Also, when Kim Kardashian announced the album, she also shared a handwritten tracklist of biblical song titles such as “God Is”, “Sweet Jesus” and “Baptized”, which are inspired by his ‘sunday services’, according to rumours.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see about this album for now, and maybe Kim Kardashian will announce a new release date shortly.
