Kate Middleton Wears Alexander McQueen Dress At 2019 Portrait Gala | Fashion News

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton met members of the National Portrait Gallery‘s Youth Forum in central London during the 2019 Portrait Gala on Tuesday night. She attended in her role as royal patron of the National Gallery.

For her third gala, she decided to wear a black floral Alexander McQueen gown – which is a customised version of the one she wore to the BAFTAs two years ago. The dress is made of a flowing skirt combined with a beautiful waist-clinching top.

In 2017, the dress was off-shoulder whereas this time Kate adapted it to the London cold winter weather with some sleeves. Kate accessorized it with a pink morganite and diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough and a Prada clutch.

On the makeup side of things, as she is used to, she keep it to the minimum, matching her casual wavy hair. Her look was sophisticated for this iconic art event.

Liam Payne, Kate Moss, Victoria Beckham and others were also a part of this glamorous event.

During the event, the Duchess got the chance to view some artwork made by some of the National Portrait Gallery’s outreach programmes. Then, she talked to aspiring artists.
