Krept And Konan recently appeared on New York’s Hot 97 to talk to Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez on Ebro In The Morning. They talk about life in the UK, musical influence and explains what “sending for someone” means to Ebro. During the interview they describe how organically the features on their album The Long Way Home came about, and why they signed to Def Jam in the states.
Rosenberg has been a big supporter of the Grime sound over the last 12 months and after speaking to the Thornton Heath duo at Wireless Festival a few weeks back, the New York DJ brought Krept & Konan to the iconic Hot 97 to discuss their album and the impact of “Freak OF The Week” on the UK and US charts. Ebro now also works closely with the awesome Julie Adenuga on Beats 1 and was clearly eager to get a real insight into the current energy behind the UK Grime sound and scene.
