Krept & Konan Share Music Video For ‘G-Love’ Featuring WizKid | Music News

Superstar British hip-hop duo Krept & Konan have joined forces with Nigerian singer WizKid for their new track, “G-Love”. The song taken from the band’s forthcoming LP lands alongside a music video helmed by KLVOR and filmed in London.

Produced by P2J, the latest collaboration from Krept & Konan serves as the second official single showcasing the duo’s hotly anticipated full-length, Revenge Is Sweet, coming out on 1 November. The album will feature more guest appearances, including lines from Stormzy, Tory Lanez and MoStack.

“G-Love” follows “I Spy” recorded with Headie One and K Trap. The song released last summer premiered at No. 18 in the UK charts, becoming the second top 20 single from Krept & Konan. Their previous big hit, “Freak Of The Week” featuring Jeremih, peaked at No. 9.

The duo, consisting of Casyo “Krept” Johnson and Karl “Konan” Wilson, are also set to embark on a national tour supporting the release of the follow-up to their 2015 debut, The Long Way Home. Even though most of the dates were postponed after Konan was attacked backstage at a live event in Birmingham earlier this month, the band will perform on 5 December at The O2 in London.

Krept & Konan recently appeared in the acclaimed BBC Docuseries, The Rap Game, accompanied by DJ Target. In 2017, with the tracks “7 Days” and “7 Nights”, the duo historically became the first musical act to have two mixtapes listed simultaneously at the Top 10 of the Official UK Albums chart. Throughout their career, they have also sold out such venues as Alexandra Palace and played festivals like Wireless and Reading & Leeds.
