Kurt Cobain’s Daughter Frances Bean Shares Her First Original Song | Music News
Frances Bean Cobain, the visual artist, model and the only child of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, has shared a snippet of what appears to be her debut original song.
“I think I saw you when I was small,” Cobain sings on the 24th anniversary of her father’s death on April 5, 1994. She has already revealed her musical talent previously, sharing the covers of Leonard Cohen‘s “Hallelujah” or “The Middle” by Jimmy Eat World. All of the short videos, including the first original composition, were shared on her Instagram page.
The homemade performance was posted with a self-ironical caption, admitting that “there are so many memeable moments in this clip” and pointing out that she “can’t play guitar with long nails“. Listen to it below:
A) there are so many memeable moments in this clip B) I’m SUPER restless because i can’t play guitar with long nails so I’m just sitting in my room alone singin to mah self C) not having a TV in my house is the best decision because I’m forced to occupy my time with things that feed my brain & soul instead of wasting energy on thinking about not having to think 🤔 👻🦑 (p.s. pls don’t steal my baby bean of an idea. Thanks.)
