LCD Soundsystem are back with a bang. As well as headlining major US festival Coachella this summer, the dance punk band have now announced a tour to go along with the forthcoming album that was announced last week.
The band released a Christmas single last month, their first output in over five years, and frontman James Murphy recently spoke out on why the band’s breakup was so shortlived: “I write songs all the time .. Early in 2015, I realized I had more of those than I’d ever had in my life .. just loads of them, and I found myself a little perplexed. If I record them, what do I do with them?“. LCD will play the legendary California festival on Friday April 15 + 22.
