Lil Uzi Vert took to SoundCloud over the long weekend to share a brand new track, titled “$UB ZERO”. Produced by the ever rising Maaly Raw, the track sees the North Philadelphia rapper follow up to his recent Wiz Khalifa collaboration, “Pull Up”.
The electronically tinged effort is quite sedate and laidback, until the lightly clapping drums and, especially, the booming bass kick in. It strides that current line between singing and rapping. The flows are generally quite lazy and mellow, which you could suppose fits the backdrop, generally, quite well. Ice cool when in Mortal Kombat, like “$ub Zero”, indeed.
