I proclaimed earlier today that this Little Simz cover of Daughter’s “Youth” was/would be the best thing you hear today, and a few hours after and many songs later, I am standing by my earlier claim. Little Simz took to BBC 1Xtra this morning to perform for 1Xtra Live Lounge, and she chose to take on Daughter’s perfect song “Youth”. How did Simbi do? You will have to check it out for yourself below but me saying it’s the best thing you’ll hear today already gives it away.
