Lizzo And Dave Join 2020 BRIT Awards Performers | Music News

It has been revealed that Lizzo and Dave will perform at the 2020 Brits Awards ceremony.

 

The three-time Grammy award winning “Juice” singer and Mercury Prize winning rapper have been added to an already star-studded line-up. Joining them with performances at the ceremony will be Harry Styles, Stormzy, Mabel, Lewis Capaldi, Celeste and Billie Eilish.

 

The Brit Awards will take place on February 18, hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall for the third year in a row.

 

Commenting on his slot in the line-up, Dave said: “I’m very grateful and looking forward to the opportunity, I’m going to give everything I can to give you my best performance.”

 

Having been recently nominated for four different categories at the Brit Awards, Dave joins Lewis Capaldi as this year’s most nominated artist. Dave and the “Someone You Loved” singer share nominations for the best male solo artist, best new artist, song of the year and the Mastercard album of the year.

 

Meanwhile Lizzo, who opened up the Grammy’s last month with performances of “Cuz I Love You” and “Truth Hurts”, has been nominated at this years Brit Awards for best international female solo artist. She will be up against the likes of Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Camila Cabello for the award in this category.

 

The Brit Awards will take place at the O2 Arena on February 18, and will be broadcast live on ITV.
