LP – Girls Go Wild | Music Video

After the 2015 smash hit “Lost On You“, off her fourth album of the same name, which made her a household name world-wide, LP is officially back with a new single, “Girls Go Wild“.

Laura Pergolizzi, hence LP, is a singer-songwriter from Long Island, New York, who has written for the likes of Rihanna, Leona Lewis and Cher, among many others.

Even though she is veteran of the music scene, it wasn’t until recently that LP gained her well deserved recognition. A couple of fortunate features on different TV shows have shed light on the singer’s incredible skills.

Now, after releasing “Girls Go Wild” in mid June, the singer has unveiled the visuals for the track, that gives a taste of what the next album will probably sound like.

The single is a funky, upbeat offering perfectly wrapped in LP’s dirty vocals. A love letter to the West coast, the single is a nicely placed summer bop. With lyrics like “girls gone wild on the west coast/c’mon baby let’s go/that’s what she said“, LP is at her best with this Mike Del Rio produced single. A slightly departure from LP’s previous sound, far more indie-rock, the song nonetheless detains the singer’s careless and Rock’N’Roll attitude.

Accompanied by an equally mesmerizing music video, that has the singer centre stage in this psychedelic clip tinged with neon colors, the wait is almost over, as LP is officially gearing up to release new music soon.
