Lucy Wroe Pushes You Into Self-Reflection With ‘Want You Back’

Lucy Wroe, Winchester born singer-songwriter and performer has revealed her new single titled “Want You Back“.

Since the age of 10, with her guitar, Lucy Wroe has been created her own songs characterized by jazz-infused indie-pop relaxed melodies. Flowering and calm voice, groovy drum rhythm and mischievous charisma are the characteristics of her music.

Taking inspiration from of Lianne La Havas and Jessie Ware, Lucy had improved how to paint modern jazz and electronic production into her own colors to build her own music since her debut in 2020.

For this new year, supported by instrument musicians – drummer, bassist, and guitarist – London established artist would like to present the passion of a new relationship, the complexity of commitment and how this push us into self-reflection.

“Want You Back” drives Lucy towards a maturate path, softer and sensual kind of pop contrasting with her debut single in July 2020. Written by Lucy herself, produced by Tom Berry and mastered by Stephen Kerrison, the single targets the urgency to restore the connection with yourself following run of relationships without success.

Lucy said about her song “Since I can remember, I’ve had this strange yearning deep inside me, like a well I can’t fill”. Driving groove, rich vocal harmonies, guitars and sophistic-pop style synths will surely lead “Want You Back” to monopolize dancefloors and radio for the next months.
