Saturday night teatime telly used to be all about one man – no, not Doctor Who, but ‘M’ to the ‘A’ to the ‘C’ Gyver, or good old MacGyver to you and me. Now, good news just in means that MacGyver fans have double reasons to celebrate: firstly, a new TV series is in the pipework, focusing on the adventures of a young MacGyver; and secondly, a movie spin-off is also in development. That’s 2 MacGyver’s for the price of 1!
In terms of the film, Furious 7 producer Neal Moritz is teaming up with original creator Lee David Zlotoff, so it might just work. But who will fill Richard Dean Anderson’s shoes as the action man himself?
