Majid Jordan, the duo that helped craft Drake’s wedding ballad classic is back with a new mix. They were catapulted to the top-tier of the electronic/production scene in 2013, credited with Drake’s hit song “Hold On, We Are Going Home”. The duo, consisting of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman, soon released their first offering under the OVO umbrella, an EP titled A Place Like This.
That was just under a year ago, and they’ve kept it quiet before making an humble return, by uploading a 20-minute long mix to their Soundcloud, titled [|]. It’s an up-to-date mixture of R&B and house music that has characterized the duo’s two EPs.
