Mango has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2019 collection named ‘New Voice‘. The campaign is a mix of classic and trendy pieces. Mango has recently excelled at creating high street must-haves inspired by nature and that is why we have to look at this collection.
Four main fashion trends are presented in the collection. The first is the pastel shades with pale pinks, blues and greens. Then, the Spanish brand has also modernised the trench coat for Spring – oversized with pastel shades.
The holiday spirit is also here with belt bags, shell-adorned necklaces, floaty linen dresses and a woven shoe. To finish, some fun and trendy pieces like a metallic silver jacket, colorful crocheted bucket hats and cycling shorts.
This collection is not a simple or normal campaign for Mango. The brand is using it with the hashtag #MangoNewVoices to show the power of culture in the community with slogans like “Let’s build the future together”, “We believe in the power of community” and “Our dreams will inspire culture”.
For the campaign, the Spanish brand has chosen multi-hyphenates because the most interesting thing about them is not how they look like.
The photographer Alasdair McLellan has created the project with the Belgian-Russian teen Jolie Alien, Sasha Pivovarova, motocross rider Luna Bijl, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger and Adwoa Aboah. Aboah is a model and activist known for Gurls Talk an online forum where women can talk freely about anything. She has already worked with multiple luxury brands like Calvin Klein Theory and Topshop.
