Margot Robbie Stands Out As Best Dressed At Chanel Show In Paris | Fashion News

As a new Chanel fragrance ambassador, Margot Robbie made her appearance at their haute couture autumn/winter 2019 presentation in Paris this week. The actor displayed a very chic look, combining a tweed jacket, patterned leggings, plain ankle boots and a classic Chanel handbag.

Since she starred in Coco Chanel’s first ‘Neige’ campaign, Robbie and her stylist Kate Young have been doing their research into the brand’s collections. At Cannes Film Festival, while promoting the new Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, she pull off two haute couture dresses.

Virginie Viard’s first Haute Couture show took place in a circular library, paying tribute to Coco Chanel’s library from her apartment in Paris. The new brand designer, who replaced Karl Lagerfeld after his death in February, said “I dreamt about a woman with nonchalant elegance and a fluid and free silhouette; everything I like about the Chanel allure” right after the presentation.

Margot Robbie also commented about woman’s history in Chanel and how “the brand is still a powerful feminine standard of style”. It seems like Robbie is very committed to the maison and that this could be the start of a beautiful and long ‘friendship’.

The Australian actor celebrated her 29th birthday attending the Chanel show and hanging out with fashion icon Anna Wintour and her aussie colleague Phoebe Tonkin.
