Mark Ronson Tops UK Singles Chart For Seventh Week | Music News

 

“Uptown Funk” by producer Mark Ronson is the biggest selling single in the UK for a seventh week, with BBC Radio 1’s Clara Amfo breaking the news on the Official Chart Show yesterday (February 1). Ronson’s hit single “Uptown Funk”, featuring American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars is taken from his most recent studio album Uptown Special. Ronson is also known for his cover of The Zuton’s “Valerie” featuring the late Any Winehouse which won a Grammy Award back in 2008. His new album is in fact dedicated to Winehouse and features the likes of Stevie Wonder, Andrew Wyatt, and Kevin Parker. Listen to “Uptown Funk” here.
