Marvel Comics Pay Tribute To Run The Jewels On New Covers | Music News
Things could not get more exciting for Hip Hop duo Run The Jewels. The joining of producer El-P and rapper Killer Mike enabled them to create one of the most hailed Hip Hop albums of 2013 as well as its 2014 sequel. Now it has been announced that Marvel Comics has made two variant covers featuring their fist-and-gun logo. They will appear on Issue 45 of Deadpool and Issue 2 of Howard The Duck, which are set for release sometime around April. According to Rolling Stone, Killer Mike said upon learning of the news, “I knew it was happening potentially, but when it came all the way through, I was dancing around the room in my Polo underwear“.
