McDonald’s Inspires Miami Students’ Couture Fashion Designs | Fashion News

Set with the challenge of designing their own line using only McDonald’s packaging, students at Miami International University of Art and Design didn’t disappoint with their extravagant designs. The collection is called McDCouture and contains 20 stylish pieces.

The lines are made for both males and females. The 20 pieces include, bikinis and swimsuits. As well as sandwich wrapper vests, happy meal summer dresses and fabulous beach bags made from big mac boxes, everything is sure to catch the eye of an onlooker.

The whole range, in total, used a lot of McDonalds packaging. 7,000 McDonald’s sandwich wrappers, 2,800 fry boxes, 2,800 straws, 825 soft drink cups, 225 Happy Meal boxes, 2,900 sandwich boxes, 1,000 Sriracha sauce lids, and 250 to-go bags. Everything was used to make a draw dropping, eye catching and fun twist on modern day recyclable fashion.
