Just last month, Meek Mill released his comeback album Championships to a roaring success. While celebrations live on and to close the year strong, he releases the new visuals to retrospective track “Trauma“.
The Philly rapper paints a vivid picture on his previous life, the harsh and unfortunate reality. He relives those experience through the child version of self, played by his own son. He becomes engulfed with family loss, poverty, drugs and violence from all sides – and tries to navigate through it – with Meek rapping bitter truths over the hard-hitting beat, bringing the visuals to life.
The “Trauma” visual follows his previously released “Intro” video from his Number One album Championships. In support of such a huge album, Meek Mill will embark on his The Motivation Tour, spanning across North America. It commences on February 18 at the Fillmore in Miami, Florida and will eventually conclude on March 24 in Atlanta.
