Based on Sarah Pinborough‘s bestseller Behind Her Eyes, the British series of the same name is a psychological thriller that will be released on Netflix on February 17. The story revolves around a love triangle between a single mother, Louise Barnsley, who has a love affair with her boss David Ferguson, who is married to Adele Ferguson.
Nevertheless, this love triangle happens to be much deeper and darker than it seems. According to the trailer that Netflix has just released, we learn that Louise is beginning to wonder about the fact that Adèle is more and more afraid of her husband David.
We also know a little more about the actors who are present in this new thriller. The role of Louise is played by Simona Brown. The actress is also known for having played alongside Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager or in other series such as Riding With Sugar and the well-known Outlander.
At her side is Eve Hewson in the role of Adèle. The daughter of Bono and Ali Hewson previously had a lead role in the film This Must Be A Place directed by Paolo Sorrentino as well as secondary roles in television series such as The Luminaries and The Knick.
The last actor to complete this love triangle is Tom Bateman in the role of David, Adele’s husband, and Louise’s lover. If his face looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen him in the film Murder On the Orient Express.
A final character is also introduced, Rob, Louise’s best friend, who is played by Robert Aramayo. After having played Elmer Wayne Henley Jr in the Mindhunter series we have the opportunity to see him in Steve Lightfoot‘s new series.
