The debut EP from Meg Mac may have dropped a couple days ago, but I still have to put you on now. The Australian singer’s five track project features the only just released soulful blues of “Grandma’s Hands” and “Roll Up Your Sleeves”, and also the first two songs that made people to pay attention to her. The new track “Turning” is a slow burning and yet another showcase of her powerful vocal skills – get to the second verse and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Although some may have heard all the songs before, the MEGMAC EP is an excellent debut and listening to the tunes a second time around allow you not only to be captivated by her shadowy soul-pop, but also to pay attention to her creative song writing.
