Megan Thee Stallion Channels Regina George For Coach Autumn/Winter Campaign | Fashion News

The newest advertising campaign for Coach Fall/Winter 2021 collection stars none other than the rapper Megan Thee Stallion, she interprets Regina George from the iconic old school film Mean Girls, and is seen on the school’s football field, completely dressed in Coach, as all the school jocks fall in love with her.

Megan talked about her collaboration with Coach in an interview with V Magazine, saying, “I’ve always loved and respected Coach as a brand with such heritage in Hip-Hop. So, when the opportunity came up, I was really happy and the partnership happened very organically for everyone… this collection really speaks to me”.

The advertising video evolves around the classic scene at the beginning of the film, where all the students reveal the rumours they know about Regina George, starting when the narrator saying “Don’t let the Hot Girl s**t fool you. She’s more than that. Megan Thee Stallion. Where shalt we begin?”

As the campaign goes on, the peers say things such as “Her nails are so long, she actually gouged my eye out, and it was awesome!“, and another says “Shakespeare wrote five sonnets about her. Yeah, she wasn’t born yet, but … he knew”. It is a very creative and fun advertising campaign that we actually stop to watch it.
