Meryl Streep’s Daughter Grace Gummer Joins ‘Mr. Robot’ For Season Two | TV News
Grace Gummer will be joining the cast of Mr. Robot as a series regular when it returns for season two. The daughter of Academy Award winning actress Meryl Streep, she’s probably best known for her roles as Penny and Julie in the TV shows American Horror Story and Extant respectively.
According to Variety, Gummer will play the part of Dominique DiPierro, a young FBI agent tasked with investigating the Evil Corp hack and the fsociety hacker group behind it. Series creator Sam Esmail is letting little slip about the details of the coming season but he previously teased that the upcoming season would be about “filling in the blanks of the past and the present of this character … It’s about a guy who becomes aware of this delusion he’s been having”.
Season two of Mr. Robot begins production in March and should hopefully air this summer.
