It looks as if Legendary‘s new King Kong movie is racking up quite the impressive cast. With Tom Hiddleston and J.K Simmons already set to star, it’s seems that, according to Deadline, Michael Keaton may also be joining the team. With his huge success in Birdman, Keaton is making quite the career comeback and is no doubt in huge demand right now. This is great news for King Kong: Skull Island to grab another big name for their casting and even better news for audiences because it may just mean Keaton’s back for good.
The new movie is to be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) with the screenplay having been written by John Gatins (Flight). The action/adventure movie will be telling the story of a group of explorers who decide to go snooping on the island that Kong calls home. Despite the basic story line, there aren’t many other details about the movie but if Keaton’s on board, it could be a great Kong movie!
