Muse Hold On To UK #1 Album Spot With ‘Drones’ | Music News


Muse have retained the top spot on the UK album chart for a second week with their newest release Drones. It is the band’s fifth number one album, and is the first to stay at number one for two consecutive weeks since their 2006 album. They fought off Florence + the MachinesHow Big, How Blue, How Beautiful which will take the second spot, while Paul Simon’s Ultimate Collection takes third place. Coming in at fifth in the chart, Ed Sheeran’s x has now been in the top ten album chart for a whole year. Watch the video for Muse’s “Mercy” from their Drones album here.
