New upcoming Spanish talent Nadia Sheik just released a teaser for her upcoming music video for “50 Feet”, which was fimed in Castellon, Spain. The visuals present the singer, acclaimed for her massive following, in a concert setting, with Nadia’s enigmatic yet delicate presence helping to keep viewers interested in this anticipated video. “50 Feet” was produced by the veteran Nigel Walker, who worked with artists such as Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, and popular Spanish bands like La Oreja de Van Gogh and Pereza.
The song start with an unmistakable guitar sound with a British touch in the production. After eighteen seconds, the 18-year old singer show off her powerful vocal ability, with solvency and charm. However her young age makes the lyrics of this song about complicate relationships quite ironic – she is apparently disenchanted as she whispers with her sweet voice, “baby, don´t you worry about me I got your eyes on 50 feet”.
Nadia Sheikh’s music has Pop and Indie influences, she describes The Beatles as a clear influence on her style, however mixing with more current artists. “I prefer mixing a little bit of all”, she says about her influences. Nadia Sheik is currently in London on tour to promote her 50 Feet EP which was released in June and is available to purchase on iTunes here.
