Nané Releases New Single ‘This I Know’ | Music News
Austin based R&B/Soul project Nané have just released their brand new single titled “This I Know“, coming quickly on the back of their recent track “Always On My Mind”, which was released back in November. These two tracks serve as the precursor for their upcoming album, which is due for release later this year.
Their new track “This I Know” is described as recognising the climate of division in society and challenges the schism with celebration, or as lead singer Daniel Sahad explains, “There is one thing I’ve seen that can always bind us and mitigate our differences: to unite and to dance”.
As for some background about the band, Nané is made up of Daniel Sahad on lead vocals as previously mentioned, Ian Green on guitar, Scott McIntyre on bass guitar, Brady Knippa on drums, and David Thacker on keys. They get their name from a term of endearment in the Dominican Republic and it is also meant to give you a communal feel to their band as well.
Culture Capital Magazine describe Nané as “rare unity of great musicians and a talented vocalist with a unique stage presence”, and they have received strong cosigns from the likes of Black Pumas among others, on the road to their debut album, which is set to come out this year.
