Netflix Confirms Release Date For Part Two Of ‘Lucifer’ Season 5 | TV News

Fans of Netflix‘s hit series Lucifer still haven’t had a release date for part two of season 5, but Netflix has finally put an end to the suspense by announcing the official release date of this long-awaited second part of the season, which will be released on May 28.

It’s been several months since part one was released, it was released last August, and fans have had almost a year to wait between the two parts, but the wait has been worth it as Lucifer has become the most-watched series in the US.

The second half of season 5 is expected to contain 8 episodes like the first half, making a total of 16 episodes for this season.

As a reminder, the series is about the devil, played by Tom Ellis, who leaves the underworld to settle down on Earth in Los Angeles where he runs a nightclub.

DB Woodside, one of the show’s lead actors and Tom Ellis’ brother on the show, told TVLine about the second half of the series, saying the first episode “picks up literally two seconds from where we ended. Amenadiel is absolutely humiliated that God saw him behaving the way that he was with his brothers because as the oldest, he’s really supposed to be the one that sets the example – and he was not doing that!”

This announcement from Netflix has all the fans of the series excited, as they only have two more months to wait to find out what happens next in the season.
