New Trailer For Tom Hiddleston’s ‘High Rise’ Surfaces | Film Trailer

It’s long been known that Tom Hiddleston was attached to a film adaption of the apocalyptic J.G. Ballard novel High Rise and a short teaser was released almost 2 months ago, but now we finally have a full length trailer and a better view of the luxurious tower block that you would never want to leave.

High Rise is set in 1975 and focuses on Dr. Robert Laing (played by Hiddleston) as he experiences life in his new high rise home. Looking at the trailer, we get a taste of the liberated, hedonistic lifestyle afforded to people on the top floors but the social message at the heart of Ballard’s story is not lost in the narrative thanks in large part to this being a pet project of Jeremy Thomas, who has been trying to get this off the ground floor for 10 years.

Ben Wheatley is the gentleman in charge of chronicling this dystopian adventure; hand picked by Thomas. High Rise features a sterling cast comprising of Tom Hiddleston; Jeremy Irons as the high rise architect Anthony Royal; Sienna Miller as Charlotte, Royal’s aide and Laing’s love interest; and Luke Evans as the documentary filmmaker Richard Wilder who exposes the injustices of the High Rise leading to the violent fragmentation of the high rise society. High Rise will be released in cinemas on March 18 and you can see the new trailer below.
