Cat lovers may find not like this new trailer for Kornél Mundruczó’s new film, White God, as it’s all about canine power, with no felines in sight. This movie looks like nothing we’ve seen before, seemingly beautiful while strangely intense, White God stars young Zsófia Psotta as Lili, a sweet youngster who sets out to find her beloved dog, Hagen, after her father cruelly abandons her.
If the trailer is anything to go by, Hagen seems to be able to look after herself, as we see the beginnings of an animal uprising in the form of a canine army! There’s something disturbingly fierce about witnessing these beautiful creatures take over, yet there is a sweet and innocent love story at the core, a love between a girl and her dog. Mundruczo has brought us other hits like Delta and Tender Son, while young Posotta stars in White God as her debut role as an actress. Also staring Sándor Zsótér, Lili Horváth, Lili Monori and Body the dog, White God hits theatres on March 27th 2015.
