International reggaeton star Nicky Jam is the latest ambassador chosen by the prestigious Swiss watch house Hublot. It is a memorable moment for the “X” singer, whose hit landed Top 20 in Switzerland.


Switzerland is a country well known for its watches and clocks. Watches also happen to be a special accessory for every Latin artist, especially if intricate, gold and bold. So, a partnership was more than awaited and desired, and a real honor for the singer.


Nicky Jam is the first Latin artist to become ambassador for Hublot, but he also becomes the third musician to be named an ambassador, after Chinese pianist Lang Lang and English band Depeche Mode. The elite group also includes other big names like athlete Usain Bolt, model Bar Refaeli and Ferrari.

Another connection links the two parties is with Nicky Jam being a featured artist on the official 2018 FIFA World Cup Anthem “Live It Up“, alongside actor Will Smith and Kosovo-Albanian singer Era Istrefi with production by LA-based DJ Diplo.


The reggaeton singer, who has Dominican and Puerto Rican roots, admires the technical quality and incomparable aesthetics of Hublot watches, and feels more than happy to be involved in the partnership.
