Streaming giants Apple TV+ have ordered a new anthology series titled Roar that has been in the works since 2018. We already have a few names for the official casting and it is building up to be an all-star series.
The anthology series is set to starNicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Merritt Weaver, and Alison Brie. We don’t have the full cast list yet but already with these big personalities, we can guess that the series will make a big hit on the streaming platform.
The series is based on the Cecelia Ahern short stories collection titled Roar. The series will focus on women discovering absurd contradictions or issues in their life. Even if the series won’t talk about all 30 short stories in the book, it has been confirmed that it will be divided into eight episodes each half-hour and told from a different female point of view.
The series, which was created by strong>Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch from the series GLOW, will be produced for Apple TV+ by Endeavor Content
While we wait for a precise release date and the rest of the casting, we can watch some of the actress’s projects that are out or soon coming out, such as Nicole Kidman in the new Amazon series Things I Know To Be True or Cynthia Erivo in Genius: Aretha.
