The Nike Roshe Run is back with a new colour scheme that pays tribute to the 34-year old annual Nagoya Women’s Marathon held in Japan. The shoe has a black upper part with foral print lilies on it. The Lilies mark the official flower of the Nagoya Womens Marathon. The inside of the shoes have a pink lining and the insole has the same pattern displayed as the exterior. The marathon has been held every year since 1980 and takes place in March every year with around 15,000 runners taking part in last year’s marathon. It’s very nice to see that Nike is paying tribute to such a traditional marathons steeped in Japanese history. You can purchase the Nike Roshe Run Nagoya Women’s Marathon shoes here.
