No Rome + The 1975 – Narcissist | New Music

Took a picture of all my flaws/So you can make a video on your phone” sings No Rome in the opening lines of his brand new single “Narcissist“.

With a grand opening like this, I already knew the song was going to be something special. The single will be off No Rome’s debut EP, RIP Indo Hisashi, produced by Dirty Hit, the UK independent record label that is churning out new exiting acts.

Lead by The 1975‘s worldwide success, the label has been seeding and nurturing new artists, from Manchester band Pale Waves, who are gearing up for a sure to be impressive first album release, to No Rome, this synth-pop, cheeky new offer. It seems like things are certainly looking up sharp for the music label.

“Narcissist” has the smoothness of the old school pop song, with nice synth-bass layers and velvety vocals from Rome. The singer also gets a little help from Matt Haley and George Daniel of The 1975, which definitely doesn’t hurt and could give the singer the ultimate push towards a wider audience.

If you aren’t already singing along to No Rome’s new EP, I highly suggest you to start doing it, because I can foresee that each song will soon be played in every radio station.
