North London Singer Naomi Banks Unveils New Electro Pop Single ‘Closer’ | Music News
Following on the success of her latest single “Gone” singer Namoi Banks from North London is returning with her brand new track titled “Closer”. The artist is mostly known for her soulful voice, smooth R&B styles and her neo jazz sound.
With “Closer”, Naomi is showing now a different side of her art, presenting a modern and stirring electro pop single. Her first successes were in 2019 when her single “Enough” made it into the BBC Radio 1 playlist.
Since then Naomi stands out with a lot of live performances and her sound you could compare to Laura Mvula or Lianne La Havas.
Last year, Naomi performed at Servant Jazz Quarters, supported Rachel Chinouriri and Celeste at The Lexington and had a sold-out headline show. During the lockdown she continued performing live sessions in the convivial converted warehouse with an intimate audience.
Naomi will also be performing a live 360 studio session in August to mark the release of her brand new track “Closer”. With the single Naomi proofed her emotional and intelligent songwriting again.
“Closer is about being attracted to someone and not overthinking sexuality, just going with what feels right” the artist explains. The chorus of the song is really memorable and expresses through Naomi’s powerful and soulful voice lane. Listen to “Closer” below.
