With a work-rate that not even your favourite artist has, Not3s comes through again with an visual feast for his latest impressive single “Sit Back Down” featuring Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Maleek Berry. It’s just another hit from the Hackney rapper after a flurry of features, all coming off the back of his debut EP Take Not3s.
There is definitely a Maleek Berry influence in the production as this latest track is very afrobeats-esque with the groove and bounce of the guitars carrying this song nicely. The video, directed by Kirx, is mostly a performative piece with the ample swag that you expect from the two as well as some alluring female fighters.
Not3s and Maleek Berry exude the confidence of the lyrics; the song really speaks volumes and makes one thing totally clear – haters, fake friends and people that want to come for him need to all “sit back down”.
