Olamide & Tiwa Savage Win Big In The TooXclusive Music Awards 2013 | Music News
Indigenous Nigerian rapper Olamide and R&B diva Tiwa Savage won the big awards in this year’s TooXclusive Music Awards as voted by the readers of the Nigerian music & entertainment online publication. Olamide’s Baddest Guy Ever Liveth won the ‘Album of the Year’ award with an overwhelming 51% of the votes, while he also won the ‘Male Artiste of the Year’ and ‘Lyrical Titan’ awards. Tiwa Savage on the other hand won the ‘Female Artiste of the Year’ award with 60% of the votes as well as the ‘Extraordinaire Vocal Performance’ award for her “Olorun Mi” single.
Sean Tizzle was voted the ‘Best New Artist of the Year’ with Davido’s “Skelewu” crowned as the ‘Certified Banger of the Year’. ‘Mixtape of the Year’ went to UK-based rapper Kida Kudz for his Pharoah of the New School record while Don Jazzy won the ‘Producer Genuis of the Year’ award beating out Sarz by just 5%.
