Olivia Swann Returns With New Track ‘Pillow Princess’

Independent British artist Olivia Swann has begun the new year with a brand new track titled “Pillow Princess”, which sees the emerging singer addressing issues in the bedroom head on.

The tracks comes on the back of her last offering “You Want It (But I Don’t)”, and it continues to offer an insight into the intimate details of her past failed relationships, with Olivia commenting about this new track by saying, “What more is there to say? You know who you are!

“Pillow Princess” is a moody R&B track that is driven by a dark bassline, punch drum arrangements, immersive melodies, bold lyrics and a touch of jazz piano, produced by Alfie Rudman and J Warner.

Olivia has been garnering some solid support over the past few months from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Apple Music, BBC 1Xtra and Radio 2, with her video for “Gaslight” hitting over 100,000 views on YouTube, as well as two headline shows already under her belt.

There is no word yet about whether these songs are part of an upcoming project, but the London-based artist has been showing fans and critics alike her R&B-jazz flavours with hint of dark pop to excellent effect.

With mentorship from Grammy award-winning producers and songwriters such as James Fauntleroy and Rance Dopson, Olivia is also beginning to make a name for herself as a songwriter.
