Pacific Have Just Released Their New Single ‘Idols’ | Music News

The band Pacific have started 2020 on the right track with the release of their new single “Idols” recorded by recent Kaiser Chiefs producer David Watts.

Last year, the group enjoyed great success. They played three sold-out shows in Norwich and Manchester. They also had real radio support, especially from BBC Radio. They did shows on BBC Introducing and a live session on XS Manchester. They’ve also been on the playlist with the song “Time To Forget” on Amazing Radio.

Pacific’s music has also been used in videos celebrating the 2019 highlights of Salford City FC and Gary Neville. The band performed at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium. After the single “Bottle This Love”, they received a three-page cover on the Guardian Weekend.

“Life In Short” won ‘Best Local Single’ in Staffordshire and Cheshire at the 6 Towns Radio Awards 2018, and the band have been opening for The Blinders, Red Rum Club and All Tvvins during their tours. Now it’s their turn to headline with their concert at Gorilla in Manchester on Friday, April 3!

According to METRO, Pacific are “proving indie music is getting a much needed coming back” and according to The Pentatonic in 2019, “creating their own piano-driven, alternative niche they are rebranding the face of modern Indie”.
