Pendulum Perform At Ultra Music Festival After Four-Year Split | Music News
In 2012, Rob Swire announced the end of Pendulum: “[t]here will be no further Pendulum live shows. There are no current plans for a new album in 2013”. Since then, Swire and fellow Pendulum founder Gareth McGrillen found success with Knife Party and never looked back. Until now.
At this year’s Ultra Music Festival, the drum n bass outfit performed together once again. They played hits such as “Propane Nightmares”, “Witchcraft”, and “Watercolour”. They even brought Deadmau5 out for “Ghosts ‘N’ Stuff” and ended the set with Knife Party’s “Begin Again”. All in all, the performance lasted around forty minutes.
This doesn’t mean that Pendulum are officially getting back together, but it was a fantastic offering to fans who still lament the split.
