Pete Doherty Reportedly Beats Heroin Addiction | Music News
Libertines and Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has left rehab in Thailand after completing treatment. According to the Daily Mail, Doherty has beaten his heroin addiction and is now recording with his bandmates in a secret studio located at a beach in Thailand. Simon Mott, who runs the Hope Rehabilitation Centre, revealed that Doherty was sent heroin by post on two occasions, which caused him to relapse in early December, after being clean for nearly two months. The Libertines recently announced a new record deal with Virgin EMI and expect to release a new album this year.
