John Goodman is throwing F-Bombs left, right and center in the new Red Band trailer for Rupert Wyatt’s The Gambler. In this remake of the 1974 James Caan movie of the same name, Mark Wahlberg plays a literature professor whose gambling skills get him into a world of dark trouble with some unsavory gangsters.
The movie actually looks pretty slick with a genuine sense of danger, something desperately needed in a movie like this, in order to make it exhilarating enough to sit through. We’ve seen plenty of gangster movies like this but with big names like Goodman, Wahlberg and Jessica Lange, we could be looking at a fast paced hit!
