Indigenous Yoruba rapper Reminisce sits down with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds to discuss his sophomore album Alaga Ibile, lyrical content in Hip-Hop, the ‘indigenous rapper’ tag, the responsibility of Nigerian audiences in controlling what kind of music makes it commercially and nobody in Nigeria caring about lyrical content. Reminisce also talks about his 10-year long career, starting out with I.D Cabasa and Jahbless, featuring on 9ice’s debut album, working with DaGrin and why rap beefs in Nigeria are a liability, among other things.
