Reworked ‘Ghostbusters’ Trailer Features More Chris Hemsworth | Film News

Ghostbusters

The Ghostbusters trailer was released less than a week ago and already it has been reworked when an outcry for more Chris Hemsworth was heard among the din of disapproval and outrage that accompanied the first look at the all-female team.

The new trailer is nearly identical to the first aside from some added footage of Hemsworth’s role as glorified PA Kevin (complete with his own boob joke) but will probably do nothing to silence the over-zealous, childhood-biased critics who are judging the film’s every facet before they’ve seen it.

One thing old fans of the franchise will appreciate will be the cameos from Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts.

If you don’t already know, Ghostbusters follows a team of parapsychologists as they run a lucrative ghost-catching business. Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy play particle physicists; Kate McKinnon fills the role of tech genius; and Leslie Jones provides the street-smarts (and the racial humour).

Ghostbusters will hit cinemas July 15 and you can see the slightly-modified trailer below.
