Rising Manchester Artist SVMI Unveils Debut EP ‘Ma Mood’

After the success of his last two singles “P.O.P (Hold It Down)” and “Milan”, Manchester rising star SVMI has finally dropped his debut EP titled Ma Mood via Northern powerhouse NQ Records.

The 7-track EP was produced by SVMI’s long-time collaborator LiTek and sees some additional production from RDNM Beats (iamddb, Aitch). On his EP, SVMI is delivering a melodic rap which is undeerpinned by his addictive vocals, relatable lyrics, infectious flow vivid storytelling and pop sensibilities.

Ma Mood opens on a confident track titled “Intro” that set the tone of the entire project and closes on “Feel Alike” which is more an introspective song in which he telling how he has been navigating in the minefield of trying to becoming an artist.

SVMI’s EP is full of surprises and songs that might get stuck in your head like “Quidditch” and its chorus line “got me flying up and down like it’s quidditch“. With his flow, the rising star is delivering a glorious listening experience all through his project.

About his inspiration for Ma Mood, SVMI stated: “this project means a lot to me. It perfectly showcases my creative sound and speaks to the person I’ve become over the past few years. Each song feels autobiographical for me because they are representations of my mood at the time they were being made, and they capture those moments in my life quite vividly.

I also wrote and recorded some of these songs as far back as two years ago now, so it really does show my progression not just as an artist, but as a person.
