Robert Pattinson looks unrecognisable in the latest trailer for Good Time. The film comes from indie entertainment company A24 who brought Ex Machina (2015) and Moonlight (2016) to our screens; brothers Ben and Josh Safdie direct this latest Oscar-worthy piece.
Good Time takes place over one night, following Connie Nikas (Pattinson) in his desperate scavenge for bail money when his brother is imprisoned after a botched robbery.
Robert Pattinson looks a world away from his usual self as he showcases a scruffy goatee and baggy clothes, yet still delivers a performance of sheer class. Co-director Ben Safdie stars as the imprisoned Nick and also manages to strike the audience with his despair.
The film earned an overwhelming six minute standing ovation when screened at Cannes Film Festival and will likely be a popular topic in the upcoming awards season.
Good Time will hit US theatres August 11; a UK release date is yet to be announced. In the meantime, catch the trailer below.
