Rvdical The Kid Returns With New EP ‘Little Planet’ | Music News

Accra-based Rvdical The Kid has just released his sophomore project called Little Planet. The EP contains 5 tracks and, as the title itself suggests, introduces the rising artist’s listeners to his world, with great groovy vocals, colourful rhythms and infectious melodies.

Little Planet is the follow-up to his successful debut Carte Blanche, which helped the Beninois-Ghanaian producer, DJ and artist garner over two million streams, quickly reaching a whole lot of listeners, and critical support from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, FACT Magazine, Soulection and The Native, among others.

The whole idea behind Little Planetjust comes from the fact that I was able to create my own world, independent of the real life and I was able to find these likeminded people who really understood what I was trying to say musically, and who were literally on the same path and journey as me“, said Rvdical explaining what drove him to make this EP.

More in details, he also shared his thoughts behind the image of a “little planet” and said that, “Through our music, I have been able to build strong connections with so many different people across the world, and for me, that’s my ‘Little Planet’ – my whimsical world filled with zany and unique characters that interact with each other in one way or the other“.

The project is being led by some interesting collaborations that involve Canadian-Nigerian rising star Nonso Amadi and Amaarae, Ghanaian-American songstress, who happen to be two of Rvdical’s favourite artists.
