Shakka is back! The first taste of the West London artist’s new online ‘experiment’ has finally come to light for the world to enjoy with the release of his latest track “Rowdy“. The little experiment, dubbed #TribeTuesdays is as he puts it:
“Shakka writes, sings, and produces a song in 1 hour, Live on Instagram, whilst asking The Tribe for lyrics.”
Very creative idea, isn’t it? It’s a different way of immersing fans into the song-making experience and the Tribe has really taken warmly to it. This new joint is dancehall inspired and tropical flavoured with the sounds of steel pans and bass driving the song and Shakka effortlessly rides the melody, singing about getting with his seductive island girl.
The lyric video is also very creative as he channels his love for cartoons and video games with a 90’s inspired arcade like visual. A sight to behold, take in the new track below. If you’re feeling it, the track is available as a free download from his Soundcloud page.
